Welcome to our wonderful service, my name is Barbara Johansen and I am the Centre Manager of LEAD Burpengary. The Educator’s and I pride ourselves on delivering high quality educational programs for children.
We are conveniently located in the middle of two public and one private school and right next door to a retirement village whom we regularly visit. We are also in walking distance to several parks and an environmental centre. We believe community is an invaluable learning resource, as one we can only accomplish so much, but as a community we can accomplish anything.
Here at LEAD we believe all children have the right to be treated equally and with respect, regardless of race, language, ability or gender. Early education is fundamental for future learning. Our programs are designed to prepare children for their transition to the wider community and help them become confident, independent, active members of our society.
We have beautiful holistic indoor and outdoor learning environments for every child. We embrace the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and My Time Our Place.
We have a passionate Early Childhood Teacher, who provides a Government Approved Queensland Kindergarten Program each day from 8.00am – 4.30pm.
Our service provides meals which are cooked on site, by our wonderful children’s cook. Our menus are developed in consultation with children, families, Nutrition Australia and our teaching team.
We love having visitors and promote an open door policy throughout the service. We invite parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles to come and spend time with us. We have numerous special events, where the entire family (plus some more) are invited to participate.
Our door is always open to new enrolments Monday to Friday from 6.30am – 6.30pm. Please contact us to arrange an appointment so we can show you the wonderful learning we have to offer here at LEAD Burpengary. We can’t wait to meet you!
