Child Care Rebates Explained

How can I reduce the cost of my fees?

LEAD Childcare provides ‘approved’ care which means parents of guardians may be eligible for Federal Government Funded Child Care Benefit (CCB) and up to 50% Child Care Rebate (CCR)

Child Care Benefit (CCB)

Childcare Benefit helps you with the cost of childcare, ask one of our friendly Centre Managers for more information or follow the link below.

Child Care Rebate (CCR)

Childcare Rebate assists parents or guardians with your out of pocket expenses for approved childcare if you are working, training or studying. Out of pocket expenses are total childcare fees less CCB. Childcare rebate covers up to 50% of out of pocket expenses, up to a maximum of $7,500 per child per financial year.

Childcare Rebate is different from the Childcare Benefit; to receive CCR you must first claim CCB for approved care. CCB is based on your income and is different for everyone.
